An integral role within both the Purchasing & Finances teams this is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive forward-thinking company that prides itself on maintaining a real team environment amongst colleagues with genuine opportunity for career progression.
The role would suit applicants from either a purchasing or finance background. Applicants must have both good administration skills and an excellent eye for detail and candidates with experience using SAP or similar software would be advantageous although not completely necessary as full training will be provided for the right candidate
Job Overview
o* Processing, raising and updating supplier purchase orders*
o* Raising internal import documentation from supplier invoices *
o* Managing and monitoring import shipments, including tracking arrival dates liaising with the freight agent and booking deliveries *
o* Maintaining and updating system-generated purchase reports*
o* Carrying out general purchasing administration tasks*
o* Daily posting of incoming and outgoing bank transactions across different accounts*
o* Reconciling customer receipts against remittances*
o* Processing purchase invoices*
o* Preparing weekly supplier payment runs and setting up payments for approval*
o* Checking and posting credit card expenses and staff expense claims*
o* Cash flow updates for management review*
o* Completing monthly bank reconciliations for different bank accounts*

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
