ICT Support Analyst
NHS Scotland – Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 24 months due to funding.
* Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
We require an enthusiastic and approachable individual to join our Digital ICT Desktop Support team on a temporary basis. You will become involved in all aspects of the team’s workload across various projects and the day-to-day end user support.
Responsibilities
* Support current Windows Desktop environments.
* Provide technical support to large scale ICT infrastructure projects.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and troubleshooting.
* Work independently or as part of dynamic teams, liaising with 3rd party contractors.
* Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting Windows Desktop environments.
* Strong customer service ethic.
* Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* HNC/HND or equivalent in a computer related subject.
Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check required.
