Role Information The school is looking to appoint a polished, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to manage the school’s front-of-house operations. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies Managing the school’s main switchboard and directing calls appropriately Greeting all guests warmly and ensuring safeguarding procedures (ID checks, signing-in) Managing visitor passes, deliveries, room bookings, and reception logs Providing administrative support including emails, letters, copying, and record-keeping Maintaining the reception area to a professional standard at all times Supporting events such as open days, parent evenings, and school tours Liaising with teaching, pastoral, and support staff to relay accurate messages Handling confidential queries with professionalism and discretion Updating internal systems and supporting whole-school communication This is a high-profile role requiring exceptional professionalism and communication skills.
