Kirkcudbright Primary School is seeking to appoint a part-time, term-time only Senior Clerical Assistant for 16.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The position is fixed-term until July 2nd, 2025.

The office staff at Kirkcudbright Primary School are vital to the smooth and efficient running of the school. They are highly valued members of our whole school staff. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, it is important to create a friendly, courteous, and welcoming atmosphere.
You will undertake a wide range of clerical duties to support school office administration and the wider school community. Excellent ICT and customer service skills are essential. Good communication and organizational skills are also crucial. The role requires the ability to work as part of a team and, at times, independently using your own initiative.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered the position, will be required to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
