ProAktive Risk Management (part of the Clear Group) is an innovative business looking for a Health and Safety Consultant who will understand our customers’ requirements and provide high quality advice. The role will be a mix of office based and on location with our clients and we can offer hybrid office and home based work. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in working in the construction industry, specifically with pre-construction experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete high quality Health and Safety inspections and audits of the client’s business, together with recommendations on how to improve standards in line with the client’s objectives and legal requirements
* Provide CDM and pre-construction advice for clients
* Carry out regular site visits
* Undertake reports, risk assessments and COSHH assessments
* Train clients and their employees in areas that you are competent to do so
* Attend client meetings to provide guidance and mentoring on safety issues
* Seek opportunities for continuous professional development.
You should have:
* Experience within a health and safety role, from a construction environment.
* NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalent, is preferred,
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* An ability to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving.
