As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical support and assessment for residents while also providing clinical leadership, support, and mentoring for Registered Nurses in the Aged Care Home. You will use your clinical expertise, leadership, and clear communication skills to assist with the provision of high-quality clinical care. With a strong understanding of quality clinical care, you will lead, inspire, and educate care professionals to promote continual improvement of clinical care in the Aged Care Home. This role offers the opportunity to specialise in a clinical area such as palliative and dementia care while also providing a high level of general clinical expertise. About You: Registered Nurse with a minimum of five years of experience. Clinical leadership in an Aged Care setting. Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning principle Understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values. Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards. Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance Postgraduate qualifications in a specialised clinical area (desirable) Other Important Information: Weekend work may be required. Completion of prescribed mandatory training and annual appraisal development processes. Additional tasks may be required based on qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience.
