Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, Emergency Services
We are looking for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to help drive through improvement and service redesign in our Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking, dedicated, and have a passion for delivering the best care to all our patients.
Key responsibilities will include leading and managing a team of nurses, supervising and directing nursing and multidisciplinary care, and taking charge of the Emergency Department in the absence of the Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse. The role also involves identifying staff performance and capability issues, promoting ideas and initiating evidence-based change management, and acting as an advocate for patients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to motivate and manage staff, and have the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations. They will also be committed to providing high-quality patient care and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
