Job Overview To line manage a team of Contracts Administrators and to support the Contracts Managers in managing & delivering products, goods & services contracts with key customers. Understand Customer Requirements including specification, volume, schedule and material requirements. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders, contractors, customers and suppliers. Build robust relationships to ensure effective management of the contracts. Responsibilities & Duties Effective Management of the Contracts Administrators ensuring: Key LUR business trackers, databases and reports are maintained and updated Key Customer business trackers, databases and reports are maintained and updated Transactional processes are completed in a timely manner Invoices are transacted and processed for customers for products, goods & services delivered Customer order books are managed and accurately maintained in the company ERP system Cover for Contracts Administrator tasks are delivered as and when required Effective Support of the Contracts Managers to ensure delivery of the contract and contractual obligations Ensuring KPIs are met Understanding and support the closure of any quality or technical issues Understanding and investigation of any technical issues Collation and communication of any additional costs Assistance and support with arising customer queries or concerns Ensuring all transactional data is collated and communicated as required Understanding of required stocks and schedules of demand Escalate any concerns / issues promptly to the Contracts Manager and the Freight Business Unit Manager Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the proactive management of any issues Support regular contract and performance reviews with customers to monitor service performance together with the production of KPIs, meeting minutes and supporting management of actions. To drive the use of the company ERP system at all levels to ensure system inputs are maintained. To work closely with other members of the Freight Business Unit and support as required. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Essential Five GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent) Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, power point and excel Ability to see, own & resolve issues through to completion Desirable Three years experience in a similar customer-facing role. Understanding of lean principles and Continuous Improvement philosophies A full UK driving licence Personal Qualities Open minded, strong commitment levels & resilient Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Able to work to tight deadlines Able to work individually or as part of a team Commercial awareness Planning, organisation and decision-making skills Excellent communication both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills Proactive and positive outlook with a can do attitude ADZN1_UKTJ
