Unison is the leading provider of differentiated engine controls, accessories, and performance monitoring solutions in the Aerospace, Defense & Space segments. The Lead Production Quality Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of production processes and products. This is a customer-facing role with ownership of quality assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes, including conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, customer audits, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage quality assurance activities within the production environment.
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and products.
* Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
* Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify trends.
* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
* Support new product development and introduction by providing quality input and oversight.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality
Desired Characteristics
* Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement
* Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
* Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in using quality inspection equipment and software
* Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma)
The base pay range for this position is $ 83,800 - $100,000 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 30, 2025.
