Hays Social Care are working with a leading young person’s charity in Lisburn Your new role You will be working as part of a team that supports young people and provides guidance to them in conjunction with identifying their safety needs. The service is aimed at providing supported housing for young people who are homeless or living in care to make the transition to independent living. You will assist young people as they transition into adulthood and plan for their move into the community from supported living. You will be a friendly point of contact to help signpost them accordingly and also promote their safety and protection. What you will need to succeed. To succeed in this position, you will need to have 6 months experience of supporting people in a caring role and an understanding of homelessness, mental health, and substance use. NISCC registration is essential. It is also desirable to have experience of working in a supported housing or residential environment.
