Senior systems engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: We need significant IT experience in a Senior IT or Infrastructure role. We need experience working across both on-premise and cloud environments. We need strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including migration experience. We need experience with Windows Server. We need experience with HPE/Aruba networking. We require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the role is based across multiple sites in the Staffordshire area. Responsibilities: We will support the development, security, and modernisation of our IT environment. We will implement and maintain security across cloud and on-premise systems. We will lead the migration to Microsoft 365 and modern workplace tools. We will support infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management. We will troubleshoot complex, multi-site network issues. We will act as an escalation point for technical challenges. We will contribute to standards, best practice, and continuous improvement. We will provide hands-on technical delivery alongside strategic input on cloud adoption, infrastructure improvements, and long-term IT planning.
