Transducer Engineer

What you'll do
Define and maintain acoustic quality standards for new and existing transducer products
Support production teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality manufacturing
Validate acoustic performance through the full product lifecycle
Shape acoustic requirements during early-stage design and new product introduction
Lead investigations into acoustic performance issues and drive corrective actions
Develop continuous improvement strategies to enhance acoustic consistency
Collaborate with international teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders
What you'll need
Experience in underwater acoustics, transducer performance or acoustic quality control
Strong understanding of acoustic theory and signal processing
Ability to analyse and interpret acoustic test data
Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
Degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar + 5 years' relevant experience
Desirable
Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement
Practical prototype assembly or mechanical engineering experience
Ability to develop lab tools or software
Willingness to travel occasionally internationally
