This is the job: We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead the technical delivery of our IT Roadside product line. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable technology solutions. You’ll guide a cross-functional engineering squad through the full development lifecycle—ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and alignment with business goals. You’ll mentor and inspire your team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and delivery teams.
What will I be doing?
* Own the engineering capability for a defined product line, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
* Lead a cross-functional squad through the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing and maintenance.
* Collaborate with Product Owners to shape roadmaps that balance innovation with product health.
* Drive DevOps practices, automation, and technical excellence across the team.
* Manage supplier relationships and ensure high-quality delivery from partners.
* Provide clear direction, coaching, and career development for your team.
* Ensure effective resource planning, budget management, and governance compliance.
What do I need?
* Extensive IT engineering expertise across a broad range of technologies, with hands-on experience in application customization, integration, and technical solution design.
* Proven leadership of high-performing engineering teams in complex, fast-paced environments, with the ability to inspire, support, and hold teams accountable.
* Strong delivery background in Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe, with a track record of managing medium to large-scale development projects.
* Strategic and pragmatic mindset, capable of balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery, and comfortable operating at or near L6 level.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and collaborate effectively across functions and with suppliers.
* A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering impactful, high-quality solutions.
