Finance Director – Events & B2B Technology Marketing Business

A fast-growing event and B2B technology marketing business is seeking a Finance Director to support its next stage of growth, working with global enterprise technology clients.
Founded over a decade ago, the company has evolved into a specialist B2B tech partner delivering end-to-end event, marketing, creative and lead generation services. Around 80–85% of work is event-led, from executive roundtables to 400+ person productions, alongside tradeshow, branding, SDR and video services.
Now at approximately £10m turnover, the business has grown from under 50 to around 100 people in the past year, with teams in London, the US (expanding) and Australia.
This is a long-term leadership hire, focused on building a strong, scalable finance function for the next phase of growth rather than a short-term solution.
The Role
Professionalising and scaling the finance function
Owning day-to-day finance operations and forward planning
Managing multi-currency, international operations (US, Australia, Europe/APAC)
Supporting audit and reporting as the business grows
Partnering closely with client servicing and commercial teams
Improving financial literacy across the business
Helping build out the finance team over time
The Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Background in agency, professional services or project-based businesses
Experience in a company scaling from small to medium, including audit exposure
Multi-currency and international finance experience
Strong capability in both operational finance and strategic planning/analysis
