Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Contract Type: PAYE Contractor - £20 - £25 per hour (Umbrella rate available)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

🌟 About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will report to the UK ICT Manager and provide 1st and 2nd line support to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations for employees and contractors across the UK.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 1st and 2nd level IT support, resolving hardware and software issues
* Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
* Liaise with external providers (printing, mobile, audio services)
* Participate in IT projects including upgrades and deployments
* Prepare IT assets for onboarding and manage their lifecycle
* Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure data centre security
* Manage user access, passwords, and administrative privileges
* Update technical documentation for troubleshooting and support
* Handle support requests via ServiceNow help desk
🎯 What We’re Looking For
* Experience: 5–7 years in helpdesk support (1st/2nd line), ideally in engineering or similar sectors
* Education: HNC, HND, or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
* Technical Skills: HW/SW troubleshooting, network protocols, SCCM, Active Directory, Cisco
* IT Skills: MS365, Windows, ServiceNow
