As a key part of the team, you'll be using your CAD skills to create precise designs and your CNC programming expertise to bring those designs to life. With a focus on quality and safety, you'll be delivering tailored staircase solutions that meet customer specifications and industry regulations. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Develop 2D and 3D designs for custom staircases, ensuring they meet structural and aesthetic standards. Program CNC machines to fabricate staircase components with accuracy and efficiency. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and turn concepts into detailed designs. Resolve any technical issues in the design or production process. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and building regulations. Work closely with the management, orders, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution. Keep accurate records of design and production processes. What You'll Need (Skills & Experience): At least 1 year of experience as a Stair Designer and CNC Programmer, with strong proficiency in CAD software (Masterstair and Stairbiz preferred). Experience programming CNC machines, particularly for timber staircases. Solid understanding of staircase design, structural integrity, and safety regulations. High attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Experience with CNC programming software and an understanding of industry standards. Why Apply? £26,000 - £29,000 per year (DOE). Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, with potential for overtime.
