37.5 hours (part time hours would be considered)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Manager to lead our procurement portfolio, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and delivery of significant cost improvement programmes. This is a senior role, responsible for shaping long-term sourcing strategies, leading complex contract negotiations, and advising the Trust stakeholders on all procurement matters.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing procurement policies, driving cost improvement targets, and strengthening supplier relationships. You'll be part of a high-performing sourcing team, working together ensuring you are empowered to deliver excellent results for the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage procurement contracts across the Trust and ICS where required.
* Provide expert advice to the Senior Management Team on procurement, tendering, and Procurement law.
* Develop and implement long-term sourcing and cost improvement strategies.
* Negotiate high-value, complex contracts and resolve contractual disputes.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clinical teams to ensure best-value outcomes that support patient care.
* Deputise for the Director of Procurement when required.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic team player with:
* MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Significant experience in procurement at a senior level, ideally within a complex healthcare or public sector environment.
* Proven success in delivering large-scale cost improvements and managing complex contracts.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills at executive level.
* Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
