Norfolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced project manager to undertake the development phase of a project to deliver an inspiring future vision for Hickling Broad and Marshes.
The successful candidate will initially manage and co‑ordinate the development phase of the project, including detailed planning and deliverables to obtain permissions and funding for the delivery phase.
Responsibilities include coordinating ecological management, estate management, visitor experience and engagement workstreams, and delivering ecological, social and economic wellbeing outcomes for the nature reserve and surrounding area.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multidisciplinary strategic projects.
* Excellent coordination, collaboration and communication skills.
* Experience working with partners, colleagues and local communities.
* Passion for wildlife conservation and commitment to environmental stewardship.
Potential for role to extend into the delivery phase of the project, subject to successful outcomes of the development phase.
Fixed Term Contract – Part‑time 3/5 until 31 March 2028, with potential to extend and increase hours contingent on funding.
