Building Control Officer needed in Rotherham, £50 - £60ph - Reference: 000A 9925 / 1
This role focuses on domestic and small dwelling projects—including extensions, housing sites, new builds, and alterations to existing houses. No commercial properties or flats are involved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct 8–10 site inspections per day within the local area.
* Perform plan checking for projects outside the local area.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
* Provide clear, accurate reports following inspections.
* Liaise with contractors, developers, and homeowners to resolve compliance issues.
* Support the team during permanent recruitment coverage.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
