Job Description
The Finance Administrator will support the Finance department with a wide range of tasks including:
3. Purchase Ledger - Keeping Us on Track - Check, match and process purchase invoices accurately
4. Keep payment records up to date and help prepare weekly payment runs
5. Keep the Purchase Ledger tidy, balanced and ready to report
6. Manage the Finance Inbox and respond promptly
7. Reconcile company credit card statements
8. Support our Revolut card programme - check, reconcile and process transactions
9. Look after petty cash (GBP, EURO & USD)
10. Sales Ledger - Supporting Cash Flow
11. Raise and send sales invoices on time
12. Support credit control - build positive relationships while ensuring payments arrive promptly
13. Operational Support - Helping the Team Work Better
14. Order office supplies so everyone has what they need
15. Liaise with suppliers for routine checks and maintenance (fire alarms, security)
16. Pitch in with extra finance or office tasks as needed
17. Embrace AI and smart tools to automate repetitive tasks
18. Look for ways to make processes simpler and quicker - and share your ideas with the team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Administrator should have:
19. Some previous experience in finance and keen to develop further
20. Organised, detail-focused and proactive
21. Curious about how AI and digital tools can make work easier
22. Strong communicators and supportive team players
23. Positive, reliable and motivated to make things better
24. Computer-literate (SAGE experience is a bonus)
