Purpose of the role

Are you passionate about developing people and driving impactful learning initiatives? We’re seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team. Based at our Head Office in Solihull (B37 7YB), with UK travel required, you will deliver our training strategy, ensure compliance, and support our people’s growth.

This role offers the opportunity to shape learning at Colas, working with internal stakeholders and external partners to build capability and support career development.

Main Responsibilities

* Identify and prioritize training needs with business leaders.
* Manage daily training requests and maintain accurate training records.
* Support the implementation of the Learning & Development strategy.
* Design and deliver bespoke leadership and management programs.
* Evaluate training effectiveness for ROI and ROE assessments.
* Manage relationships with training providers, including contracts and SLAs.
* Support apprenticeship and graduate programs, including recruitment and onboarding.
* Assist with audits and training budget reviews.
* Maintain training matrices aligned with the Learning Management System.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.

Ideal Candidate

* Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning & Development.
* Proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role.
* Strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development strategies.
* Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
* Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes, funding, and industry standards is desirable.
* Experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus.

Package Description
