We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assistant on behalf of our client, Cranswick, based in Cullybackey. Monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperature, CCPs and pre-requisite requirements.Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
* Monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperature, CCPs and pre-requisite requirements
* Accurately complete all required paperwork
* Butchery checks to ensure that product meets customer specifications
* Internal auditing
* Verify completed investigation of non-conformances and customer complaints
* Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene rules in the factory environment
* Assess goods at intake to ensure they meet specification
* Assist in preparation for customer visits, third party and internal audits
* Any other duties within the competency of the job as directed by management
Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of HACCP and BRC quality management systems
* Understanding of red meat sector
* A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
* Strong attention to details and organisation skills
* Experience in QA/QC or GMP environment
