Job Title – Project Cost ControllerLocation – Zeewolde
Role responsibilities
Project and commercially manage multiple projects from receipt of award until final account stage and in conjunction with Project Delivery Manager and Business Stream Owner, assuming responsibility for delivery of the expected GM % rate
Populate and update Commercial documents including profitability overview, revenue/cost/margin forecasts & month end close activities (monthly)
Populate monthly business review file (MBR), explain forecasting updates with Senior management and tracking each month actuals to commitment and update on the variances
Understand Contract requirements (per project) on contractual milestone payments, revenue recognition, ensuring compliance and with the aim to ensure maximum potential is realised
Build positive relationship with customers to improve opportunities of repeat business and additional scopes
Raise, submit and agree variance orders in accordance with the contract
In conjunction with Credit Controller understand AR position on projects Commercially responsible for support the maintenance of accounts receivable resolving any disputes in a timely manner, handling negotiation to resolve payment in line with terms
Undertake detailed formal project reviews monthly to understand and explain profitability compared to bid and forecast, to seek out opportunities/risks but also provide feedback to project delivery and proposals teams to take decisive action to mitigate any overspend/provide accurate pricing
Support with ad hoc analysis of projects as and when required
Support in the provision of financial evidence for internal or external audits as and when required
Provide feedback and input to tendering department based on actual project performance Job Specific Education Required:

Accounting and Finance knowledge (understanding of accounting terminology)
Good Excel knowledge (essential)
SAP experience (desirable)
