Private Client Tax Consultant / SeniorCentral Bristol£50,000 plus DOEFull-time | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm A professional services firm in central Bristol is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax professional to join its collaborative and established team. The role offers ownership of a varied private client portfolio with a strong focus on personal tax, alongside exposure to more complex advisory work. The environment is professional, supportive and well suited to someone looking to develop technically while building long-term client relationships.The Role You will manage a portfolio of private clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.Key responsibilities include:
o Preparation and review of personal tax returns (primarily income tax)
o Advising on Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters
o Involvement in trust and estate taxation, both compliance and advisory
o Identifying tax planning opportunities and providing clear, practical advice
o Liaising directly with clients as their trusted point of contact
o Working closely with colleagues across the wider practice
About YouEssential:
o Experience in a private client / personal tax role
o Strong income tax compliance knowledge
o Confident dealing directly with clients
Desirable:
o Exposure to CGT, IHT, and trusts & estates
o Experience advising owner-managed individuals or high-net-worth clients
Salary & Details
o £50,000 plus DOE
o Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
o 6-month probationary period
