Maintain Office Operations:
Address day-to-day office needs, such as repairs and general upkeep, and manage relationships with third-party vendors for cleaning, maintenance, and security services.
• Stay up to date with Health & Safety laws, manage incident reporting, run assessments, and ensure sufficient First Aid and Fire Warden coverage.
• Coordinate beverage and snack services, ensuring the office is always well-stocked and ready for use. Handle orders and preparation for office supplies.
• Reception Duties:
Greet visitors and create a welcoming, productive, and engaging office environment where employees can thrive and build connections.
• Assist with desk set-up, office tours, supplies, and security badges for new employees.
• Conduct daily office walkthroughs to ensure the office is sparkling clean and fully stocked with supplies. Work closely with the events team to plan company and external events. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring office efficiency and will collaborate with senior leadership and other teams to support company operations.
Have proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment or the aerospace/defence industry.
• Can be present in the new Bristol office 5 days a week.
• Are passionate about creating a vibrant workplace culture and have an interest in organising events.
• Have proven relationship-building skills.
• Are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
