Oxfordshire Adult Learning are recruiting for an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Maths to join our award‑winning faculty. Our Maths provision is well‑established in Oxfordshire and supports learners to live, work and integrate successfully into their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive online and in‑person lessons that meet curriculum and learner needs.
* Create and use a variety of learning resources, including digital tools.
* Support learners in developing Maths, and functional skills.
* Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Deliver tutorials and support learners with personalised learning plans.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to course management.
* Promote equality, diversity, and independent learning.
* Engage in professional development and contribute to team and college objectives.
Essential Experience:
* Excellent teaching skills and a passion for your subject area.
* Experience of teaching curriculum area.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
* Qualified Teacher or interested in qualifying.
* Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding/Child Protection issues relevant to the post.
* Level 2 or equivalent in literacy and numeracy or interested in qualifying.
* Ability to relate to diverse teaching groups.
* Skills relevant to tutorial/pastoral support.
Desirable Experience:
* Assessor/Verifier qualification.
* Experience of teaching within a post 16 setting.
