Our Field teams are critical in the delivery of our contracts, whether that is delivering, or supervising maintenance, installation, cabling, or civils works. Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.
Reporting to the NS Field manager this role will be key to join the field services and management teams together to form a cohesive and productive workflow.
Supporting projects UK wide but focussed regionally you will supervise and lead a team of highly skilled engineers on a day-to-day basis.
What you'll do:
Lead and supervise regional teams of engineers and contractors delivering civils works across telecoms infrastructure projects.
Manage resources, schedules, and performance to ensure efficient delivery of projects and maintenance activities.
Oversee compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, conducting audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
Mentor, train, and support staff development to drive performance and staff retention.
Promote smarter, more efficient ways of working while identifying opportunities for business growth.
Who you are:
You combine strong commercial awareness with a hands-on approach, balancing compliance and efficiency. With excellent communication you can implement smarter working practices, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.Key requirements:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop others.
Optical Fibre Knowledge
Excellent understanding of civils works within telecoms infrastructure (copper, fibre, and power).
Highly organised, with the ability to manage resources across multiple sites.
Commercially aware with a focus on efficiency, cost control, and business objectives.
Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
