Carbon60 is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Broughton, UK. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analysing, and solving recurring technical issues on the production floor. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing on-shift line-side support to manage technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. This includes addressing issues such as missing parts, non-conformities, outstanding work, maintenance, and optimising the use of jigs and tools. The successful candidate will also support capacity management, anticipating fluctuations in the product life cycle and developing the necessary competencies. Double Day Shift Pattern (20% uplift on rate) Alternating weeks of morning and afternoon Monday to Friday Mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm Afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pm To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess: - Desirable NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent qualification - Background in Manufacturing Engineering - Previous experience in a technical role, with knowledge of CATIA and SAP (preferred) - Basic understanding of aircraft build philosophy This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically-minded individual to make a significant impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
