About The Orchards
* 47-bed residential care home
* Welcomes residents with low to medium dementia needs
* Supported by 2 Deputy Managers and an in-home Administrator
* Part of a wider group overseen by a dedicated Area Manager, who visits regularly
* Enhanced induction support: the Area Manager will be on site frequently during your first few weeks to ensure a thorough and smooth onboarding
The Role
As Registered Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the home’s success. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the day-to-day operations of the home with care, professionalism, and visibility
* Ensuring residents receive outstanding person-centred care at all times
* Creating a positive, supportive culture where staff feel motivated and valued
* Driving and maintaining CQC compliance and continuous quality improvement
* Managing staffing, occupancy, budgets, and resources effectively
* Building strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the local community
* Supporting and developing your team through coaching, training, and example-setting leadership
Your leadership will shape the experience of residents and staff every single day.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both experience and heart. You will ideally have:
Essential
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Significant experience in the care sector, with proven Registered Manager experience in elderly residential or nursing care
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and best practice
* Excellent people management and team-building skills
* A calm, proactive approach with strong organisational ability
* Confidence managing compliance, performance, and budgets
* Lives within 30 minutes’ drive of The Orchards

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
