We have an exciting opportunity to join our Accounts Receivable team within the Asda Service Centre Finance function. This is an opportunity to join a great team with a variety of responsibilities relating to multiple Accounts Receivable processes. As a team member you will find yourself in a busy role with the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders. Does this sound like the job for you? Read on Your Role: You will build and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payment of sales ledger invoices. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all interactions and collection efforts. You will monitor accounts to identify and correct errors/discrepancies that will potentially leave debt in an unrecoverable position. You will ensure external & internal queries are resolved to a high quality and within pre-agreed SLAs. Cash allocation - monitor and reconcile payments into the accounts receivable bank account. What you’ll need: Previous accounts receivable, debt collection or credit control experience required Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent negotiation skills and the ability to challenge where appropriate. Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload Ability to manage deadlines in accordance with role requirements and escalate where deadlines are compromised or at risk Keen attention to detail & ability to investigate/solve problems. Intermediate Excel skills (Including Pivot tables and V-lookups) Computer literacy, including data entry and confidence using business applications (specifically SAP).
