Production Operative\n\nLocation: Northampton\n\nContract Type: Part-Time (Minimum 25 hours per week)\n\nSalary: £12.21/hour (Weekdays) | £18.32/hour (Saturdays) | £24.42/hour (Sundays)\n\nImpact Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Northampton. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong eye for detail, experience working with chemicals, and a methodical approach to handling delicate components.\n\nThis is a hands-on position that combines process control, quality inspection, and technical application - perfect for individuals who take pride in precision and working within a high-standard production environment.\n\nWorking Hours:\n\nMonday to Friday, working a minimum of 5 hours per day between 12pm and 5pm\nOpportunity to start earlier (from 7am) if additional hours are desired\nOvertime regularly available, including most Saturdays and 1-2 Sundays per month\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nHandle and applying products, including working with chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines\nInspect and clean components before and after processes to ensure quality standards are met\nPrecisely apply and remove masking materials to technical specifications\nUse handheld tools and spray guns (previous experience preferred)\nMaintain detailed documentation of production processes and inspections\nEnsure safe and effective manual handling techniques for delicate components\nPerform basic equipment maintenance and ensure tools are in good working order\nWork closely with colleagues to optimise workflow and maintain efficiency\nAdhere strictly to health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all timesCandidate Requirements:\n\nCOSHH training or experience working safely with chemicals is highly desirable\nFirst aid training is beneficial\nFamiliarity with safe manual handling practices\nExperience in quality inspection and precision work\nPrior use of spray guns or dispensing tools is advantageous\nExceptional attention to detail and steady manual dexterity\nAbility to manage tasks independently and contribute to a team-focused environment \n\nDue to the nature of our clients contracts you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check for this role.\n\nIf you are interested please apply with an up-to-date CV.
