Our client based in Ebbw Vale is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. The business is going through a sustained period of investment and there are long-term development opportunities for the right candidate. This role comes with AAT study support for and a company pension.
The Role:
* Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end accounts payable reporting.
* Maintain audit-ready documentation and records.
* Liaise with internal teams to validate invoice details.
* Support ad-hoc finance and administrative projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration
* Strong numerical, organisational, and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
* High attention to detail
* Good communicator and team player, but also able to work independently.
* Motivated to develop professionally
