The Opportunity:
A legal firm in Preston are looking to appoint a new Head of Finance to take ownership of all accounting activities, leading a small team and providing strategic support to facilitate growth.

Your New Role as Head of Finance:
Reporting to Directors and leading a small accounts team, as Head of Finance duties will include:
•Production of management accounts including commentary and analysis
•Cash flow forecasting
•Preparation of budgets
•Maintenance of the fixed asset register
•Variance analysis
•VAT returns
•Liaison with external stakeholders including HMRC and Auditors
•Preparing year end accounts
•Ongoing review of existing systems and processes, implementing improvements as necessary
•Ensuring regulatory compliance
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the legal sector, proven in a number 1 finance role with staff management experience.
