Professional Services Veterinarian, North UK
Join IDEXX as a Professional Services Veterinarian in North UK. In this role you will help our customers provide the best care possible to their patients, expanding your reach through consultative relationships with practice owners.
In This Role
* Consult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and utilization of IDEXX products and services.
* Partner with Sales Force and internal teams to provide technical support, training, market trials and other technical activities to customers.
* Represent IDEXX to customers and academia, hosting seminars and continuing education sessions on company products.
* Support the company’s products by creating, reviewing technical materials, and presenting technical subjects to a variety of audiences; assist with writing technical documents and reviewing marketing materials.
* Assist the IDEXX Training Department in creating written materials, presentations, and conducting training sessions.
* Ensure compliance with IDEXX SOPs and procedures regarding product complaints, adverse drug event reporting and client records.
* Handle customer questions, provide technical advice, and follow through on product complaints as part of daily responsibilities.
What You Will Need To Succeed
* A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent; advanced degree or board certification preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in the Veterinary Industry and/or in Veterinary Practice.
* Solid knowledge of current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
* Strong business acumen with specific knowledge of products and services sold.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
* Service‑oriented attitude and strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
* Professional maturity, adaptability, and responsiveness to employees, customers and peers.
* High integrity and honesty in keeping commitments to employees, customers and the company.
* Goal‑oriented, with drive, initiative and passion for business and team excellence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
* Field‑based role; ability to accommodate extensive travel up to 65%.
