Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruitment Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume recruitment function across three key sites: Southend, Romford, and Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a small, dedicated team of recruiters while driving improvements in candidate experience, employer branding, and recruitment processes.
As Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and hiring the best talent, ensuring a seamless and engaging recruitment journey, and supporting the company’s strategic objectives through innovative talent acquisition initiatives. You will also be hands-on in sourcing and headhunting high-quality candidates for business-critical roles.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Delivery
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all three sites, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Lead and coach a small team of recruiters to achieve hiring goals and provide an outstanding candidate experience.
* Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand resourcing needs, providing expert advice on talent attraction strategies.
* Actively support the direct resourcing and headhunting of top talent for key and hard-to-fill roles.
* Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, including proactive sourcing and talent pooling.
* Manage workforce planning activities in line with business priorities and future growth.
Employer Branding & EVP
* Drive the employer branding strategy to attract top talent and promote AllClear and InsureandGo as an employer of choice.
* Develop and implement campaigns to enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), working in partnership with Marketing and Communications teams.
* Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to build awareness and strengthen the talent pipeline.
Process Improvement & Compliance
* Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
* Implement effective selection and assessment methods, ensuring a fair and objective recruitment process.
* Oversee the use and optimisation of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and maximising functionality.
Reporting & Metrics
* Track and report key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, etc.), using data to drive improvements and inform decision-making.
* Benchmark recruitment activities against market trends to ensure competitiveness and relevance.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager or Senior Recruiter in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (ideally across multiple sites).
* Strong resourcing and headhunting skills, with the ability to source passive candidates and attract top talent for hard-to-fill roles.
* Leadership and team management skills, with experience coaching and developing recruiters.
* Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and selection methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to build and execute employer branding strategies and EVP initiatives.
* Proven track record of improving recruitment processes, tools, and systems to deliver efficiencies.
* Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret recruitment metrics and benchmarking data.
* Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); knowledge of Pinpoint is a plus.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
