Streamline Recruitment are currently working with a well-established business specialising in warehousing, distribution, and international freight services including sea and air freight.
They are seeking a motivated Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team to support sales and operations with excellent customer service and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information.
2. Prepare and issue spot quotes for a range of logistics services, including warehousing, sea freight, air freight, and import/export shipments.
3. Liaise closely with warehouse, transport, and freight teams to ensure shipments are executed on schedule, consistently meeting customer SLA requirements.
4. Provide customers with regular updates on shipment status, proactively communicating any delays or issues.
5. Resolve complex queries regarding pricing, transit times, customs documentation, and delivery schedules with professionalism and accuracy.
6. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
7. Collaborate with external sales teams, freight forwarders, and operations departments to support client needs and contribute to business growth.
8. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts, promoting additional services such as warehousing, import/export, and customs clearance.
9. Maintain ongoing communication with customers to address support enquiries and strengthen client relationships.
10. Generate detailed sales reports and oversee general sales operations.
11. Utilize LinkedIn strategically to promote services and generate new business leads.
12. Manage key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent achievement of KPIs.
Candidate Requirements:
13. Previous internal sales or customer service experience, within logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or distribution.
14. Confident using CRM software, MS Office, and freight management systems
15. Proactive and solution-focused with a customer-first approach
16. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team environment
