About the Role:
Job Title – Agile Delivery Manager
Location – London, UK
Mode of Work – Hybrid 3 Days Onsite Per Week
Type of Hiring – Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
Project Duration – 12 Months
Experience Required : Minimum 12+ Years ONLY
About You:
Successful candidates will have proven experience working in an Agile Delivery Management or Scrum Master role and are passionate about empowering squads and fostering a collaborative and agile culture. Experience working in a smaller organization/start-up is desirable.
Strong knowledge and experience of working in and applying Scrum & Kanban Agile principles.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, and you can effectively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
Strong experience of using agile planning and delivery tools for creating, managing, and tracking deliverables as well as the ability to interpret data and take action to course correct where necessary.
Strong coaching and mentoring experience.
Commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
A team player willing to adapt, support and drive improvements to all parts of the agile delivery process.
What do our Agile Delivery Managers do?
Ensure that all ceremonies and agile events are carried out effectively.
Coach squads to self-organize and deliver high-quality solutions.
Assist the squads to collaborate effectively, resolve conflicts, and overcome challenges and impediments.
Lead the squads to effectively plan, refine, estimate, and deliver functionality to clients whilst also driving continuous improvement and hygiene factors (i.e., Tech Debt).
Raising and assisting the resolving Risks & Issues.
Collaborating with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure there is a well-defined and deep enough backlog to maintain a healthy flow of work.
Provide day to day leadership of a squad(s), having regular 121's and where necessary, difficult conversations.
Collaborate with our Support Team to understand client issues and feedback, support resolution of issues and ensure lessons learnt are fed into ways of working.
Drive continuous improvements and agile transformation across the whole of the Delivery function and thinking beyond their own squad(s).
