Static Stress Engineer
Location: Filton (hybrid on-site, minimum 60%)
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible within 7am-7pm
Pay: £38.88 per hour PAYE / £52 per hour Umbrella (dependent on signatory status)

Guidant Global is proud to partner with Airbus to recruit a Static Stress Engineer who will play a key role in developing and improving wing structures across major aircraft programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong aerospace stress analysis experience, particularly within Airbus environments, who's ready to contribute to high-impact engineering work while continuing to grow their expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll contribute directly to the structural integrity and certification of Airbus wing components. Your work will include:
Structural Analysis & Certification
* Performing static stress analysis on fixed-wing structures using Airbus PMTs.
* Conducting trade studies and supporting design improvements.
* Assessing impacts of in-service occurrences and supporting risk assessments.
* Producing and compiling stress justification reports and certification dossiers (metallic & composite).
