Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our Technical Engineering resource aligned against a key customer's "Campus Site" facility in Northampton.
The client are our largest, and are a global corporate banking organisation, and this site is classed as "Mission Critical" for their UK operation, consisting of key corporate facilities. containing a multitude of M&E systems, from LV & HV infrastructure to modern HVAC systems
The site is expected to grow too, with large refurb and construction projects underway, which will only add to the current 2000 site personnel
In addition, you have a range of leisure facilities and various amenities set in a pleasant, leafy, lakeside campus set up, making this a large, modern, complex and fast moving, world class site, representing a superb engineering challenge to keep things operational
Working alongside the Engineering Manager, Supervisors, Day, and Shift Engineering teams responsible for PPM and Reactive delivery, your role will take two key functions:
The first is around acting as Technical support across the site and team, examining SOPs, EOPs, compliance, and taking a broad overview of BAU operations in order to encourage new efficiencies
The second is acting as a link between the BAU team, and the Project function, which means acting as the voice for the client in Project meetings to ensure all Projects work gel adequately with site operations
Therefore, you would be coming in with a wide remit to really take Engineering delivery to the next level, working with company and client stakeholders to ensure interests are protected and to improve best practice
There are also fantastic longer term development pathways available
