This summer, we open the doors to our fully re-imagined hotel, The Imperial – a new lifestyle offering within our portfolio. With 357 bedrooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio. Arcus is the new destination rooftop bar - this will be a new beacon, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an elegant, guest‑focused FOH Host to welcome diners and help shape a smooth, enjoyable restaurant experience. You’ll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for relaxed yet elevated service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, managing both reservations and walk‑ins.
Escort guests to tables, present menus and support a well‑paced seating flow.
Oversee reservation systems, guest information and seating plans.
Coordinate closely with restaurant, bar and kitchen teams to keep service seamless.
Anticipate guest needs, manage special requests and support VIP experiences.
Maintain host stations, menus and guest areas to high presentation standards.
Support with setting up the dining room and assist during busy periods.
Who You Are:
Experienced in guest‑facing restaurant or hotel roles.
Strong communicator with CEFR B2 English.
Calm, organised and confident managing multiple tasks at once.
Bonus: experience with reservation systems, premium venues or food and drink knowledge.
