Redwood House Care Home is looking for a dedicated Chef/COOK to join our friendly team, committed to providing a homely environment for our residents.
Contracted hours: 30 hours per week

* Enjoy making home-baked cakes and desserts daily
* Experience in healthcare is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Daily duties include:
* Preparing nutritious meals following a four-week rotating menu
* Catering to dietary needs such as modified textures, religious preferences, diabetes, and more
* Maintaining temperature records, cleaning schedules, and food safety standards
* Minimizing waste and following company policies
* Supervising kitchen assistants, managing stock and ordering supplies
* Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy

Requirements include experience in a similar environment, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or higher, understanding of Safer Food Better Business, and empathy for elderly residents.
