Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic setting. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All roles are paid, including internships, and we value a friendly attitude and a passion for service.
Responsibilities
* Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
* Take orders accurately and process transactions using the POS system
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and glassware
* Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
* Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
* Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions about menu items or drinks options
* Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills
* Support team members to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Skills
* Experience or knowledge of hospitality and serving standards
* Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a bar environment
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
* Strong organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
* Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
* Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates
* Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
