OPPORTUNITY :
Hereford Cathedral School is looking to appoint a graduate with a strong degree in any subject to join our lively and forward-looking school on a fixed-term contract. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an educational environment by supporting both the sports programme and wider co-curricular activities. For those considering a career in teaching, or simply wishing to make the most of all that school life has to offer, there will also be chances to contribute more broadly across the school community. The successful applicant will help lead and deliver PE/games and assist with co-curricular events throughout the academic year, including weekends and some holiday periods. Coaching experience in a variety of sports is preferred, with competence in at least two (rugby, football, netball, hockey or cricket) and a particular specialism in one being a desirable. We are seeking someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and positive, who enjoys teamwork and is keen to take part fully in the busy life of the School. Working hours will be spread across five days, Monday to Saturday. Flexibility will be required to cover some early mornings and evenings. The postholder will also contribute to Saturday sport (both home and away fixtures) and accompany trips or visits as needed. During term-time, duties will be carried out at the School or at other reasonable locations as directed
