Class 2 Driver
TVT Recruitment is looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our team of Airside Drivers at Heathrow Airport.
This is a great Class 2 Driver opportunity for individuals who would like to work for a prestigious multinational company, as a part of their team in a fast-paced environment, driving airside, to ensure the freight is delivered safely to and from the aircraft and warehouse.
This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, 4on2off shift pattern, mixture of earlies and lates. Based on performance, a permanent contract with the client may be offered at any point after 12 weeks.
Class 2 Driver Qualifications:
Valid manual HGV Class 2/ Class C license with clean driving record - must have HGV experience.
No more than 6 points.
5 Years Employment History and clear Criminal Record Check (DBS).
Right To Work in UK ( If applicable ).
Driver Cargo Operative certification (can be obtained if you do not hold initial current certification).
Class 2 Driver Requirements:
Previous experience of airfreight work - desired but not essential.
A good level of fitness - essential.
Able to understand and follow instructions.
Good communication both written and verbal.
Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure.
Adhere and respect Health and Safety Policy.
Ability to pass a driver's medical and colour vision assessment.
In return, as a Class 2 Driver ( Airside Driver) you will receive:
A standard hourly rate of £15.31, inclusive of shift allowance.
Minimum 37.5 hours per week.
Enhanced pay rates for overtime, and Bank Holidays - with rates of up to £28.74 per hour.
Free on-site parking, with additional parking available in a ULEZ-free zone.
Full uniform provided.
20 days of annual leave.
