Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our agency team, supporting a reputable nursery in the Newport area, to provide high-quality childcare and education in a busy and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and confident in utilising their knowledge of childcare practices and early years curriculum planning to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and develop, working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging activities, observe and record children’s progress, and maintain accurate records of children’s development.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for early years education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also need to have a good understanding of childcare practices and early years curriculum planning, as well as the ability to deliver high-quality care and education. An NVQ 3 qualification is required for this role.
