We are looking for an individual who can provide essential financial support to the School Business Manager, ensuring that every penny is accounted for and directed toward enhancing student learning. Core Responsibilities Purchase Ledger Management: Processing orders, matching delivery notes to invoices, and preparing weekly BACS payment runs for suppliers and services. Income Processing: Accurately recording and banking all school income, including trips, catering, and extracurricular activities via digital platforms (e.g., ParentPay or sQuid). Budget Monitoring: Assisting with the tracking of departmental spends, providing budget holders with up-to-date reports and flagging potential overspends. Financial Compliance: Maintaining clear audit trails and ensuring all transactions adhere to the school’s financial regulations and SFVS (Schools Financial Value Standard) guidelines. Payroll Support: Assisting with the collation of monthly payroll data, including overtime claims, sickness absences, and new starter information for the central processing team. Why This School?
