Opportunities Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
We have partnered with a growing Total Facilities Management group who are looking to expand their project management capabilities across Mechanical and Engineering and construction projects for their clients.
About the Role:
We are looking for Project Managers to oversee Hard Facilities Management (FM), construction, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects nationwide. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Lead and manage Hard FM and M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met in line with client requirements and industry standards.
2. Team Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors, to drive successful project outcomes.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues promptly.
4. Budget and Schedule Control: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and commercial control over assigned projects.
5. Health and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety on site.
6. Quality Assurance: Oversee project handovers, including the preparation of manuals and documentation, to ensure a seamless transition and client satisfaction.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, ideally within Hard FM, M&E, or related construction sectors.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and project management methodologies.
* Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Organisational Skills: Strong planning, budgeting, and scheduling capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., APM, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience are desirable.
