Working with our team of Generator Engineers you will develop skills, knowledge and experience across all aspects of Power Generation. Under the supervision of our qualified engineers, you will support a variety of engineering services carried out at our client’s premises or Pharos sites. This is an excellent opportunity continue your learning, gain practical experience and join a growing company.
Expected start date: 01/08/2025
The role:
Your apprenticeship is made up of learning on the job, attending college and gaining the academic skills to put into practice in your day-to-day job over 3-4 years. The learning programme is made up of modules and you’ll be required to evidence your work against these modules via practical tasks and assignments.
When you’re not at college you will be working with our expert team, gaining first-hand experience across the following power generation tasks: maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment.
Skills, experience & qualifications:
* GCSE Maths, English, Science, ICT with grade 9-4 or A*-C
* Understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
* Experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial but not crucial
The person:
The Apprentice Generator Engineer must have a keen interest in engineering, a thirst for learning and a strong work ethic to join our Runcorn team. Our team are busy, proactive and professional with experience in offering apprenticeships. We are looking for a good communicator and a natural problem solver with a positive attitude and a growth mindset to invest in.
