Our Team

We're Bloomberg. We provide our users with up to the millisecond market moves and analytics as well as connecting them with their counterparts and the wider community of 350,000 Bloomberg Terminal subscribers.

Bloomberg Enterprise Data — fast-paced, innovative, and expanding. We work closely with our clients to understand their unique businesses and their evolving data and technology needs. With an extensive range of datasets covering all asset types, multiple delivery technologies, and flexible scheduling options, our clients can access exactly the data they need, when they need it, and in the format they prefer. Quite simply, without us, they can't operate.

What's the Role?

ESG Data Sales Specialists will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our Sustainable Finance data solutions. To be successful, you will need to have a proven track record of Enterprise sales, collaboration with multiple internal departments, proficiency in data and technology within the sustainable investing workflow, and staying on top of evolving market trends.

We'll trust you to:

* Develop and execute on sales strategy to drive annual sales and revenue targets for a defined territory

* Work efficiently in a collaborative selling environment while maximizing the resources available to achieve success

* Build and execute on sales strategies with other internal sales and account management groups

* Proactively identify new pipeline opportunities and accurately maintain sales forecasts

* Build and execute on sales strategies while collaborating with other internal sales and account management groups as required

* Build trusted relationships with ESG-focused clients, as well as C-level executives, to acquire knowledge and understanding of their sustainable investing strategies.

* Educate and assist Enterprise Sales members across the organization on learning how to identify relevant sales opportunities for ESG data and technology.

* Frequent client and prospect interaction through sales calls and on-site visits

* Ongoing education of customer technology stacks, workflows, internal structure, and industry trends

* Leverage your knowledge and skill set to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps, and recommend solutions; and deliver on revenue-generating and adoption/usage goals

You'll need you to have:

* 3+ years of relevant sales experience

* Understanding of Sustainable Finance workflows

* Strong track record in consultative selling

* Proven ability in accurate pipeline management from initial lead to close

* Ability to establish key relationships within strategic accounts for ESG, including senior client relationships at C-levels

* Desire to continually learn and add new technical and selling skills

* Highly motivated and target/quota driven

* Willingness for regular business travel
