Pinnacle is looking for a Planning Manager to work on various projects, including highways, rail, and water. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing large civil projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage planning during the tender process to produce the project plan and programme for submission.
2. Communicate the plan to all stakeholders, including external parties.
3. Ensure the plan incorporates safe working methods and allows for timely construction.
4. Identify risks to the programme, include time risk allowances, and contribute to the tender risk and opportunity register.
5. Present and gain approval for the plan and sequence from the bid/project team, using visual aids and graphics derived from drawings.
6. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers regarding proposed methods and sequences.
7. Assist the bid team in evaluating supply chain quotations and methodologies related to the programme.
8. Manage resource and cost loading of programmes in coordination with the Estimating team to produce a commercial forecast if required.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven planning experience is essential. We also consider agents, engineers, or assistant project managers with relevant experience in various civil projects.
Salary up to £79,000 + package.
